To Elegant Turn 9 in Ranah Minang

Kelok 9 which is located about 30 km distance from Payakumbuh, West Sumatera which is one of the cross road of Riau province to West Sumatra province which can be said very unique, because this road has turned as many as 9 turns. the curve of 9 was not as glorious and as powerful as it is now, but it is just an ordinary highway that has a winding road that circles between long hills.



Due to the fact that in this turn of 9 road there is often an accident incident, the local west Sumatra government finally made an idea that is made a very beautiful flyover and located in the middle of the tropical forest which is still well preserved and still protected from deforestation. This twin bridge was inaugurated by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in October of 2013. With its beautiful scenery and spectacle, this makes it one of the favorite places for riders or road users to take a break and while watching the beauty and grandeur of its architecture.



In the vicinity of Jalan Kelok 9 has built a flyover with a length of 2.5 km. This twisted bridge 9 and wriggle down two steep hill walls with each height of concrete pile can vary which reaches 58-70 meters high. The streets here are very smooth or possibly because they are the cross-links between provinces. Balado is a typical cooking technique from Minangkabau that is by sauté chili milled with various spices, usually can onion, then garlic, and also lime.
