As a center of government, Padang City is indeed more dense than the city and the district in West Sumatra Province. Padang city is also often used as a tourist destination for people in West Sumatra and also surrounding areas. Some attractions can be found in this Padang City, especially the beach. If tourists are in Padang and want to relax and also while enjoying the breeze blowing breeze, while it does not want to travel far, this Nirwana Beach is a very appropriate destination. Nirwana Beach is located on the West Coast of Sumatra which is about 14 km from the city of Padang which is also the capital of West Sumatra Province. In addition, Nirwana Beach Padang is in an ideal location for camping. To get to the tourist area of Nirwana Beach is easy to access from downtown Padang. If tourists use private vehicles, can head south towards Teluk Bayur. Along the way, the tourists will be helped by traffic signs to reach the destination.





From this Nirvana Beach, we can see the ships, whether it be from passenger ships, merchant ships or boats that are leaning on the Bayur Bay port. At dusk arrive late in the evening, the beauty of this Nirvana Beach no less fascinating as during the daytime. The lights and all the lights crazy lights in Bayur Bay harbor that looks very beautiful and also make the atmosphere in the beach area nirvana to be very romantic.

All About Me - Heart Maps to Start the Year

I am always looking for creative ways to get to know my students. I also love creative ideas that we can use to introduce them to some of the tools we use throughout the year. The past several years I have modeled our use of Padlet with a 7 Pictures – All About Me Project. This year I was inspired by  Marwa Elkelani to try something a little different. We are going to start with some Heart Maps and get some practice with Google Drawings or Google Slides. A heart map is a visual map that uses drawing, text, shapes, and images to share feelings, people and places you love, memories, experiences, and more. These can be created on paper or digitally. I think Canva , Adobe Express , Google Drawings, or Google Slides could all be used to facilitate the creation of these digitally. I am going to focus on Google Drawings and Google Slides for this post. We use both Drawings and Slides to create during the year, so I love the idea of exploring these tools with students early in the school...
